I recently stayed at Cdh Backpackers for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The owner, Susan, was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The breakfast options were delicious and available for a long period of time. The room itself was spacious and well-maintained, with daily cleaning and a helpful staff. The location of the hostel is unbeatable, right in the center of the city and close to a supermarket and bus station. Cdh Backpackers offered great value for money and I had a wonderful stay.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Title: Great Family Adventure by the Beach
My children wanted more organized activities for kids at the hotel.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and clean. The location was convenient, being close to the city center and old town. The staff, particularly Philis, was very helpful and friendly. They showed us around the area and even helped us order a tuktuk to the train station. There were outlets next to each bed, which was convenient for charging our devices. it was a good place to stay for a couple of nights.
Can't think of anything.

I had a great stay at a budget-friendly hostel in town. The location was perfect and easy to find - just look for the blue door between Mama Tony's cafe. The dorm room was clean and comfortable with outlets next to each bed. The highlight was the super-dorm experience, sleeping in the company of other friendly travelers. The bathroom was also surprisingly clean. I would recommend this hostel for a short stay.

The location was unbeatable, right in the heart of Mombasa, close to supermarkets and amazing restaurants. We had endless adventures in the water, from epic snorkeling to motor boating and even fishing nearby. It was the perfect spot for thrill-seeking teenagers like us!
If I had to nitpick, the only thing we wished for was a bit more of a lively atmosphere for young, party-going people. But honestly, with all the water activities and exciting things to do around Mombasa, it was just a minor drawback in an otherwise incredible stay.

Great location, near famous monument and lovely garden. Shared lounge and rooftop terrace were nice. Unfortunately, no Wi-Fi and my phone's network was limited in my room. What a shame!

We stayed in a comfortable studio with a ceiling fan and plenty of space. The central location was great, and there was even a TV. The dorm experience was eye-opening and felt secure. The staff, especially Tabby and David, were friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast, especially the coconut beans, was fantastic. A great place for low-budget travelers.
Felt so relaxed, no complaints.

The decoration at Cdh Backpackers was charming and had a homely feel, which made me feel comfortable and relaxed during my stay. The general areas of the hotel, including the shared patio and lounge, were well-maintained and provided a cozy atmosphere for socializing with other guests. As a senior, I really appreciated the hostel's accessibility. The stairs were well-lit and secure, making it easy for me to navigate around the property.
I would have loved to see more activities or amenities catered specifically for senior guests.

The room I stayed in at CDH Backpackers was simply amazing! It had a small kitchenette, which was perfect for making quick meals. I loved having a balcony where I could enjoy my morning coffee while taking in the city views. The deep soaking bathtub in the bathroom was so relaxing after a long day of exploring. And the free WiFi was a great bonus!
If I had to nitpick, I would say that the only thing I liked less was the rainfall showerhead in the bathroom. It's just my personal preference, but I prefer a stronger water flow.

The location is mind-blowing, right in the heart of the city, and not far from the old center. The owner is super happy and incredibly helpful. The rooms are simple and easy, perfect for those on a budget. Tabby and Mercy at the reception provide a jaw-droppingly wonderful experience with their warm and caring attitude. The hostel is conveniently located near a 24-hour restaurant and a supermarket. The staff here are extremely nice and the cleanliness of the bed and bathroom is top-notch. The fact that there is a provision for lukewarm water is a pleasant surprise. The hostel is just a short walk away from Fort Jesus and the old town. The wifi is great and there are various amenities such as an electric kettle, cookware, shared kitchen, laundry facilities, and a coffee shop. The picnic area is a great place to unwind. The flat-screen TV is a bonus for entertainment. The adults-only policy ensures a peaceful and relaxed stay. The VIP check-in and check-out service adds a touch of luxury. The beach access is an added advantage. The luggage storage and locker room facilities provide convenience and security. With 24-hour security and non-smoking rooms, this place truly ticks all the boxes for an amazing stay.

The room at CDH Backpackers was amazing! I stayed in a quadruple room with a balcony, and I felt like I was on top of the world. I loved sitting on the balcony, sipping my coffee and enjoying the city views. The kitchenette with a fridge, oven, and microwave was a great convenience for someone like me who likes to cook while traveling. The bathroom was also a treat, with a deep soaking bathtub and a rainfall showerhead. Plus, the free WiFi was a big bonus. I couldn't ask for more!
Personally, I didn't find the deep soaking bathtub very practical for everyday use. But hey, that's just me!

Located in a central area, the hostel is just a short walk from popular attractions such as Fort Jesus. the female dorm offers comfortable beds for a good night's sleep. the friendly housekeeper ensures that basic amenities like towels, bed sheets, and a powerful fan are provided. Despite the narrow street, the place is surprisingly quiet, allowing for a peaceful stay.
WiFi can be unreliable, but the overall value for money makes up for it.
